What does uncensored mean here?
Every model on the board has had its refusal habit taken out, either by fine-tuning or by abliteration. It writes the scene you asked for instead of a lecture about it. Dark themes, violence, horror, villains who mean it, and adult fiction between adults are all fine.
The terms still apply: nothing illegal, nothing sexual involving minors, and nothing aimed at real people.
Does it work with SillyTavern?
Yes. Choose Chat Completion, then Custom (OpenAI-compatible), and paste https://wildwestapi.com/v1 as the base URL. The SillyTavern uncensored API guide walks through every box.
What about JanitorAI, Chub or other sites that run in the browser?
Some sites call the API straight from your browser tab, and browsers only allow that when the API answers cross-origin requests. Wild West API does not do that today, so those sites will show a network or CORS error. Run the chat through SillyTavern instead, which calls the API from your own machine.
What is abliteration?
Models learn to refuse, and that habit shows up as a direction inside the model's activations. Abliteration finds that direction and removes it from the weights. The model keeps what it knows and loses the reflex to say no. More in abliterated models explained.
How do I pay?
Top up your balance with a card through Stripe or with crypto through NOWPayments. The smallest top-up is $5.00, and each top-up carries a service fee of 3.5% plus 30c. There is no subscription.
Can I use the Anthropic format?
Yes. POST /v1/messages takes Anthropic-style requests with the same key. See the API docs.
